I was trying out some of the features of SW2008, and I started getting a bit off tangent... (that's a CAD joke). Anyway, I challenged myself to make a dodecahedron in SolidWorks, using only the software constraints. At first I had to cheat, but I finally found a way to do it, and the other items here just happened after that.

Ditrigonal Dodecahedron

Dodecahedron that has imploded edges

Great Stellated Dodecahedron

Deodecahedron with soft imploded edges

Variation on the Stellated Dodecahedron

It's like a Mobius strip, but 3D. It even has a name, but I can't remember it

My 3D interpretation of a pentaflake

This is a hint for someone who wants to model a knot in SolidWorks

A knot (3,7)

The same knot with color, showing how it is all one body.

Another knot (7,7)
